My goal is to infuse the paintings with energy that remains
within the work long after the brush has been lifted from the paper.

Happy 2012 Everyone

From North Country Web
I wish everyone a Happy New Year from my Bellaire, Michigan studio. Along with spending my winter downhill and cross country skiing on the hills near my home, I'm busy creating more paintings to have ready for the 2012 gallery season. The woods of northern Michigan provide me with as much inspiration in the winter as they do during the summer. Here's one painting that captures this magical time of year.
Love, Betty Bea
